Yesterday, when dinner was served on the verandah, this kookaburra decided it was going to join us as we ate. It began to dive bomb the food, scooping up beak fills of sprouts, broccoli, sweet potato fritters. Its determination continued until we had finished eating. This is the first time a kookaburra has done this so I am curious as to why. Perhaps it has been fed somewhere else therefore its lack of fear of humans.
Garden my focus this morning as heavy clouds passed over. Transplanting lemon grass, Ceylon spinach and pineapples. Hoping now for a prolonged shower, not too heavy though.
