Humidity followed by rain.

Humidity inhibited my out-side gardening work yesterday but then to be delighted with a short burst of heavy rain. The garden looks vibrant and very green this morning.
This butcher bird visited the cabin this morning. I suspect a neighbour feeds it and today it thought it would see if I was going to be its fast food source. I do not feed native birds so it soon realised I had nothing to offer and left.

Odd news week. Holden is closing its operation in Australia. Why don’t they start making transport adapted to a reduced fuel use and suitability to a more realistic sustainable future. 2 wheelers, solar and electric combined perhaps ? City roads are jammed packed with one person vehicles. Why not 2 wheelers ?
Australians have reduced their consumption of electricity considerably yet the electric companies are raising their charges > come-on the powers that be, the writing is on the wall as far as climate change is concerned so why are we dithering with steady adaptation. Opportunity abounds but ideology rules it seems.

And at last a look at drug use in animals people (not me ) eat.
