Hot humid days and sticky nights. Power outage at 6pm meant an early night. Woke at 10 pm to hear hail dropping heavily onto the tin roof. Half asleep I felt the heat within and the ice above. Shortly after 5 minutes of rain it was all over. Sleep came easy following.
Mango puree coming up.
A heart stomping doof occurred for 20 hours at the week-end. Although a kilometre away from my cabin, it was impossible to sleep as the thump of the bass synchronizes with my heart beat. I fully understand how any-one with a dickie heart could have an attack. Fingers crossed that it was a one off and as it was heard and felt 6 kilometres away, many people were sleep deprived. High conservation area zoning means nothing to some.
