In the days leading up to the 10th of February, when the court case began, public events were held at the Perth Town Hall, at Stirling Gardens in front of the WA Supreme Court as well as a gathering on the day of the court case in front of the building where the trial is being heard. Hundreds of people came to show their support for Steve Marsh.
Media coverage around the world has also been mounting – the world is closely watching this landmark case that could affect farmers in many countries. Since the beginning of the trial, there have been articles on Farm Weekly, the Australian, the Guardian, the Telegraph, Reuters and the AFP to only mention of few and the story can be found online in Spanish, French, German, Italian and even Esperanto!
