200 mls of rain.

Just got back here from a town day in Lismore, to the cabin before the rain run-off blocked my access. Overnight the rain gauge over flowed so my measurement is not accurate. Cleared by mid-day and my out-side work began, clearing drains and removing fallen branches. It is just like the weather we have in spring. Spangled drongos and swallows in the garden, unusual for autumn.
In the evening I went for a walk in the emerging rain-forest to view fluorescent fungi and glow worms. I wished I could share it with photographs but my camera is not equipped to show it as it is.

If the predicted El Nino returns the deluge is very welcome.
