Clear blue sky then dark clouds and thunder.

Perfect temperatures and ideal weather for our lantana slash. We follow the shade as the sun heats up. Working up a slope on regrowth lantana, an area not followed up after its first slash. Now dense runners have held the soil in place. Perfect nursery the runners  for already sprouting bangalows and white cedars. Soon after, returning for lunch, dark clouds above and thunder echoing followed by 5 minutes of rain. Everything glistened with-in minutes as the sun returned.

View from present work-site.

Garden too is changing by the day. A sudden short storm gave 1 ml, enough to satisfy transplanted carrots. Broad beans in heavy flower, late…. so I will be happy to get a late addition to my diet.. Peas and kale in abundance.

Me amongst the regrowth 2 years after the lantana was slashed and mulched.
