Summer humidity.

Sun is hot by 10 am so work moved to the shade. Garden mulching almost completed, just to start again. Cabbages suddenly hearting with 6 ready for harvest. Ginger and turmeric all sprouting and the corn is growing fast. Compost bins tossed over. The road-side jump seed completely absorbed, extraordinary plant and hard to suppress as we are about to resume our road-side follow up weed of it. We need groups of 3, 2 to mattock up and 1 to thoroughly bag.

Yesterday the young goanna in the photo below got caught in the wire netting fence and had a scratch down its back. Today it became the carpet snakes meal.
