Found something to feast on. I counted the hens, not one of them but I think it may have been the little joey that had taken to running around well beyond its mother.
This morning a spectacular bird display with spangled drongos ( pictured) noisy miners, young bower birds overseen by 2 currawongs who perched above the ducking and diving of the other birds. I have no idea whether it was a territorial dispute or something else. Difficult to photograph.
