NSW land-clearing changes – it’s crunch time!

don —
There are just 15 sitting days of Parliament left until the end of this year and, in this time, we must try everything in our power to stop the NSW Government weakening our land-clearing laws.

Last week, the NSW Government released a summary of over 7000 submissions on its proposed biodiversity and land-clearing changes*.

This summary highlights significant concerns by a range of stakeholders about the NSW Government’s proposed changes. However, there has been no indication to date as to how these concerns will be addressed by the government or if they will be addressed at all.

We know that the #StandUp4Nature campaign is having a significant impact on the government’s plans, but it is vital that we maintain the momentum.

Can you help us by making a buzz on social media to keep up the pressure on Premier Baird?

Some key messages you could use as a basis for your post or tweet are provided further below, but please try and use your own words whenever possible – it’s much more effective.

Thank you for your vital support at this time.

Yours in action,

Corinne and all at Stand Up For Nature
