Come on Byron residents………….put your efforts where you vote.

Byron Shire Chemical Free Landcare next fortnightly working bee will be on Saturday, the 28th of January,  from 8am to 12pm, at Brunswick Heads Crown Land Reserve site. Meet at the end of South Beach Road fire track gate. We will be working on Bitou Bush primary work South of the Horse track. Follow the fire trial from the gate until the second gate, turn left towards the beach before the gate and Ellen and other volunteers should be there, just a few metres in. We are very keen to finish the primary work, however if it is to hot for you there are plenty of follow up work of Bitou seedling to be done. I will not be there this Saturday, but Ellen White will, hope to see you there.

Please wear boots, long sleeve shirt and long pants, a hat, gloves and bring water, rain coat  and some morning tea. Tools and first aid kit will be provided.

From Nadia.

The Greens……………………our local Greens are a poor example of a grass roots environmental party. 10 years in a dominant position in local government and we have seen little on the ground action.
