Searing heat immobilised me… Gratitude for all the emergency Services.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday were all days of just keeping cool. As NSW broke temp records, Western Australia was flooding. After placing bowls of water around the gardens, small birds came in to drink. A goanna too sought water from a bird bath. The windless heat dried out all moisture remaining from the shower last Wednesday.

How lucky here compared to the south where thousands of hectares burnt out along  with many dwellings. Wildlife most  likely suffering the greatest losses.

Snow in Tasmania.

Gratitude for all the emergency volunteers and workers.

My birthday dinner on Saturday night was watched over by the full moon, others danced and I lay out in the gardens. I was exhausted.   So cool lying on a soft native grass.

Music dominated with Stephen the dj.
