A bush walk to escape the humidity and heat.

A old friend visited this morning so instead of sitting around in the 36 degree heat we ventured into the new forest. Cooler and very pleasant as we walked through regenerated rain forest. A dip in the creek refreshed.

With the temperature rising after 8 am every morning this week, it is hard to continue the many outside jobs. that need attending to.
So more time I spend listening to the media via radio the more  depressing it becomes, to hear of the flying foxes dropping dead out of their roosting trees, fish dying in huge numbers in the SE rivers and koalas having to be euthanized due to heat stroke.
