Heavy rain.

A night of heavy rain saw the creek flow and the house tanks overflowing. A relief with the power outage just happening as I was baking a pizza.  Pan roasted on the gas burner produced a delicious feast in the dark.

Frogs serenade the night away and the pademelons feasting on the reviving native grasses.  Flying foxes have reduced their numbers and the lorikeets have stopped swarming from flowering quandong to quandong. White headed pigeon flocks have reduced significantly, reasons why I ponder.

The first rough scale at the back door.

Harmony.

Disturbing news.
